Problems with this app include chronic closing on its own and loss of video. Reinstall does not fix the issues. Other streaming apps on the same device don’t have these problems. It’s not worth having an app that works this poorly.

Here we go again locked out of HGTV GO APP every time Apple TV updates. I loose access to watch states hgtv not part of my package deal error code 403. Yet again Please. Correct this weird issue at your end not optimum cable issue Do not wanna email you …just fix this issue

I Love this show. because I can watch good shows everyday without inappropriate content.

The apps (Discovery channels) won’t recognize Spectrum subscription. Keeps saying channel not available with subscription when it is.

Where are the shows? The shows no longer come up on the Home Screen and when I search for them, it says not found. ??

I always have enjoyed watching exciting decisions as there is most always surprise.

The app lags tremendously. It makes the experience of using the app cumbersome. Also, the ads are quite long compared to other streaming services, where 5 to 30 seconds is the max and there’s an option to skip. I love home improvement shows but end up going to other platforms that are much more streamlined in order to have a better and less annoying experience.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with your App but after an update I can’t link Xfinity as the TV provider in your App to open up everything. Only getting the error message Affiliate Partner not found. The same issues happens on Discovery Go too. No issues on the HGTV GO website at all so def an app issue.

Hi HGTV, I just got your app. I have two suggestions: I recommend that the app open to the Home Page. When I first used the app it opened to.Lottery Dream House. That’s not a favorite of mine and I had a devil of a time finding your full menu of series It would be nice to offer a short preview of each show. The name of the episode and one still photograph just isn’t’t enough information for me. That’s it for me and thanks for pulling the app together. Lee Stout

Ads, ads, and more ads. I subscribe to Discovery+ which has HGTV shows…but lately many of the new seasons of popular shows are not immensely available unless you purchase them. Instead of waiting until months after release, I watch them on HGTV GO…but ads dominate the experience. Both scenarios are frustrating to be paying in some way.

So happy I can watch my shows from anywhere linked to my DirecTV! LOOOOOVE!!! Thank you for this Amazing Option!

I am thankful I found this app because my television signal has been out for 20 days while management and AT&T fight over who’s going to repair the problem..

The ads have gotten so bad! Six minutes of a show followed by 3 minutes of repetitive ads. Literally back to back. And the same three ads every 6 minutes! Please stop this madness!!!

I love these multi talented selfless guys. I can watch them over and over.

Same annoying commercial(not commercials) over and over and over again. Ridiculous! Why would you think this is not beyond irritating??!

The app after logging in says their network isn’t included in my cable package. But I can watch HDTV on my cable and the episodes the HGTV app says aren’t included in my cable package can be downloaded from my cable company. I contacted their support and they emailed me several days later saying they need more information without saying what information they need. This is just a scam to get people to pay twice for the network.

So now there is MAX, Discovery +, HGTV Go, Food Go, etc. I have to search three apps to find where I can watch a show the next day???? LAME. Not only that, I have to pay two subscription fees because of the varience in shows residence yt others are on all theee platforms. to top it all off, I need to sign in to the Free on every week because why??? shot app service getting 1 star because I cannot leave zero

I can no longer access more than one episode per show, I’m getting a message that the network isn’t in my provider. Before the latest update the app worked just fine. I have since deleted it as it is no longer useful.

I downloaded the app, but it doesn’t open.

Commercials are too long

Hgtv. I have been watching HGTV right don’t know how long I think right at the very beginning I watched more houses being decorated rebuild and build it’s just a fun place to be on a cold winter nights and days. When I was surviving my cancer surgery, I watch HGTV as many times as I could, and during exercises, it was a thing that was in my ears and I could hear David laughed. I have now just rediscovered HGTV on my iPad with a joy because now I’m retired and I’m freezing to death so I sit by my love fireplace and watch HGTV on my iPad. It’s great some old ones are good. Some of the new ones are better. It’s all a different story to me now, so whoever thought of putting this on an iPad thank you thank you thank you you are the nest.

I am so happy to find a channel with such diverse programming. Keep up the great work!!

Love to spend 3 or 4 hours catching up

I have directv. As of 4 days ago this app and several other go apps have stopped working. Says this video is from a network not included in tv package. But it is. If I watch on my tv without using a go app it is fine. But sometimes I like to watch on my iPad if I’m not home. What’s the deal?

I wish there were more unlocked episodes!!!

I used to be able to watch all shows with my WOW tv subscription. Nothing has changed except now I am locked out of all my episodes. I still have WOW.is it no longer an approved tv provider? I figured it out. I had to delete the app then re-login. It apparently reset and I’m good to go. Thank you for your quick response!

I can’t watch locked shows due to: programming in not in your subscription… my almost 300 dollar a month cable bill says different. I can watch them at home but not on the app??!!! I won’t even let me choose a nickname to post this review!

I have no clue what’s going on but I have deleted the app so many times and reinstall it just for hgtv not to work. This has been going on for months and it’s still not fixed.

Have discovery plus could watch all HGTV shows now that they have gone to MAX and HGTV go can’t watch new shows unless you have a provider. Cans watch vacation house rules, vacations renovation. Now can’t watch new Good Bones. So all I can say so long HGTV. It’s been fun watch you. Can you say DELETE. HGTV app and stop Discovery plus. Save myself more money.

If Netflix, or any of the other premium channels gave their customers something like this, they would flee. There are so many bugs in this app, it is a nightmare! I cannot tell you how often I have watched a program only to arrive at the very finish, and find out that the last five minutes were either chopped off, or there were problems in casting. Absolutely awful.

Need to resign into tv provider every show. Even bumped me out of this review to resign in. Extremely disconcerting!!!
