Love watching my shows on my iPad

This app usually functions in the end, but its definitely got its glitches. Specifically, it doesnt always connect with my TV provider so there are days I cant use it. I also have to restart the app and reconnect to my Chromecast between episodes. Not a huge deal, but annoying if I want to watch two or three episodes of something in a row. Hope to see some updates soon!

I quit watching HGTV at Christmas 2016 when they showed holiday promos with Tarek and Christina acting like a happy family when in reality theyd been apart for several months. HGTV shows are extremely formulaic, but I liked the real estate porn. I dont want drama and lies. If HGTV and Tarek/Christina had been honest, the network would still have me as a viewer. I used to watch Flip or Flop, Property Brothers, House Hunters, and Fixer Upper. Thats 1-2+ hours a day. HGTV advertisers no longer have my eyeballs.

The streaming quality is bad and constantly buffers. And when I say it constantly buffers, I mean, for every two minutes of stream, you get one minute of buffering. Its ridiculous! Additionally, once you start a show, the only way to switch is to force quit through the app switcher and restart. They purpose of this app is streaming and the fact that its done so poorly is only worth 1-star. The app is good looking, adding another star. Please fix the streaming!!!

There is really no way to catch up on past seasons on the app. You pick shows and you are stuck with what ever they have in the line. It doesnt even say which episode from which season it is. It is easier to find the hg show I want on YouTube but then I have to pay because it wont let me use my cable info. This is a pain. I watched fliporflop seasons 1-2 on Netflix then 3-4 on Hulu and now there is a huge gap from 5-8. I like to watch my shows in order on the day I have time to enjoy them. Having no option to directly watch past seasons in order is a real problem for me. With what it costs to even have cable these days HGTV should have a better set up for their app.

Love the content and the casting option BUT more often then not it does not work! Will stop and freeze in the middle of a show and can not be restarted really want to like this but you need to fix this :-/

I cant use the app because Xfinity is not a supported TV provider. FIX THIS.

I keep trying to sign in using my Verizon login! After changing my user ID and password it STILL wont work! DONT DOWNLOAD THIS CRAP

Great TV channel...poor app. I have to restart the app every time a show is over if I want to select a new one. Please fix! Update. STILL HAVE TO RESTART THE APP. Sooooooo annoying!

Please, please, please regulate the volume level of the ads!!! They are SO LOUD that its almost unbearable. Makes it less enjoyable to watch because the show is so quiet and the ads are blaring.

I love being able to watch all of the HGTV shows; theyve got everything on here! However, the app doesnt work well at all. When a show ends, if I want to watch another show I have to completely close it out and restart it. It freezes almost every time unless I want to watch another episode Id the same show.

I love being able to watch my favorite shows on my IPhone. Yes, there are way too many ads which keeps me from giving the app a 5-star rating.

This is a great app. I absolutely love it! It has all my favorite HGTV shows!

Seriously how is it that hard to normalize ad volume so that ads dont randomly BLARE 15db louder than the shows. broadcast audio figured that out decades ago.

This app is just the worst. If I didnt love my HGTV shows so much I would not deal with it. I cant play more than one episode back to back without disconnecting from my Chromecast, closing the app, and starting over. Also, apparently Home Town is now Chopped? Fantastic.

Im trying to watch an episode of "home town" but what plays is an episode from "chopped." Ive tried to reach HGTV to fix the problem but there are no ways to reach them.

To be a major network they could really fix this app
