HGTV GO - Stream Live TV App Reviews

No doubt that this will become a well-worn app. I have already been able to watch an episode of Fixer Upper that I missed on Tuesday night...gotta have my Fixer Upper fix! Love Chip and Joanna.

App constantly stops casting. Then, When going from one episode to the next you have to close out the whole app and re open it, otherwise the play button just doesnt work. Then it will say its casting but wont be and it will just be playing on your phone.

I love all these programs and I love this app . It has always worked great for me .

Well love the app!! Specially when you get to watch a couple of your favorite shows like on demand. Titled Dream Home 2017 because that would be something to actually win at a give away weve entered in my family is totally ready for Georgia Job lined up and all just waiting for the house thank YOU in advance HGTV BOOOM!!!?

Ads are fine to a certain extent, but the 2-3 ads on this app repeat themselves in the same commercial break! Its incredibly irritating.

Ive been using this app for about 8 months but usually watched on my iPad because chromecasting it was very glitchy. Today I noticed the airplay button and tried air playing a show (using an Apple TV the same age as my chromecast) and it was amazing! I switched TV input and turned the apple on, hit the airplay button in the app and voila! My show immediately played in high def with no delay and no interruptions. I could even use imessage at the same time without the show dropping. Nice!

Normally, we watch HGTV and other Scripps Network apps to get away from ads that are violent and otherwise inappropriate for children. Saturday morning at 9 am, our 3 and 5 year old children were exposed to an ad for the Blacklist with AKs and explosions. I expect more control over the ads through the app. This was the last family thing we could watch, not sure what we can watch with the kids now. Would give a 5 star review if the ads werent inappropriate. Its not even the right demo for that show!

App is easy to use offering a lot of videos to see if I miss one.

This app is an example of the best of Cord cutting.

I downloaded the app to watch Fixer Upper. It would make the experience a lot more enjoyable if they were in order of appearance. Its very frustrating and it is not organized well. Make different categories for clips and episodes as well.

Great app. More content would be nice.

Its so annoying that I constantly have to go to the HGTV website to sign in with my TV subscription info. When I say constantly, I mean every other day. Another annoying thing is that the episodes are in a long linear line and then they are not in order. For example, it will go from episode 10 to 3 then 24 and so on. The content is great. Thats why I watch it almost every day, but the app makes me not want to watch anymore.

Its not "cord cutting" if you have to sign in with a TV provider to watch shows. There are more episodes available on the website. Deleting.

This app has a nice design, but once I watch an episode I cant watch another without force closing the app and starting over. Kinda a fundamental part of a chromecast app is that it streams to the tv, and I can click on every episode and it acts like I didnt click on anything.

Terrible at streaming. After watching one episode the app stops working and cant watch another episode. I click on the play button but nothing happens. I have to force quit and start all over.

I just love this channel n anything I can see I the app I love.
