HGTV GO - Stream Live TV App Reviews

Using the app with Chromecast, the app stops casting every 30 seconds and we have to disconnect and reconnect to work again.

Nice app but to many commercials

I love HGTV and the shows that they provide but there is more ads then a normal television show. I was watching an episode of fixer upper and there was at least 6 ad breaks with 4-6 ads per break. Thats a little ridiculous.

Love this app but since its been updated the closed captions dont work which is hard for me since Im hard of hearing :(

This out of all the apps that I have thus far is the best app out here he gives you picture within a picture and you can watch and listen to live television and yet still browse the Internet as I do it on my computer and or my iPad this is the best. Way to go HGTV!!

Commercial starts and it says playing 1 of 6! Thats already too much. Then the six finish and the commercials keep going. Finally the show comes back, is on for 5 minutes then...back to the commercials!! Just unwatchable.

Commercial times of up to 5 minutes is getting ridiculous!

Despite what it says in the description, there is no option to choose Comcast/Xfinity from the cable provider list if youre using the Apple TV version of the app... You have to use the app on your phone and then stream it over... kinda defeats the purpose of having the Apple TV app...

This is the best app in the world

Episodes and clips are mashed together for every show. Why not separate the two? I cant tell whats new and old. Scrolling through each show and reading every thumbnail for length of clip to figure out if Im picking a whole episode or a clip is clunky and not thought out at all. Place episodes wth episodes and clips with clips. Also, scrolling appears broken... it constantly flashes like a website getting refreshed. I thought I was seeing a glitch. Then it happened every time. Really annoying and terrible on the eyes. Wake up folks. This stuff is pretty basic video and web ap and user interface practice.

It will not let you watch anything because it wants a stupid internet username and password not google much harder I would not recommend the stress on looking for the username and password

When selecting the DirectTV tv provider link, an error message displays before I am even allowed the opportunity to enter my credentials. Unfortunately this means I cant watch any "locked" shows. Please fix this bug/link quickly!

For Watching live tv and missed episodes

Its a good app, but we are moving and none of the providers have HGTV. Wish you could provide your own independent app, Id gladly pay for it. Im going to miss it.

Great content, but so slow (on high speed internet) its almost unbearable to watch.

Why put a show on the app (Caribbean Life) if I cant watch full episodes?? Especially when you can watch everything thing else to its entirety.

I love this app! You can access all the episodes for free.

Please stop the commercial overload! The App is great, but we have to log in, then get dizzy with the same 6 ads over and over and over and over. Thats just wrong!

The app is easy to use and its nice that I can link my provider to be able to watch more shows and live tv. BUT, casting to my chromecast will only work for 5-10 minutes at a time and then cut off. This happened to me over a dozen times trying to cast with two different devices. Its a complete joke, and it is ONLY this app that gives me this problem. Major compatibility fix is needed.
